Freelancer Salary Will Go Through Bank DKI

To prevent salary cuts case, Jakarta Transportation Department will pay freelancer’s salary via Bank DKI this October.

Freelancer will be paid via Bank DKI. They must hold their respective ATM cards, no one else

Head of Jakarta Transportation Department acknowledged 270 freelancers are hired and assigned in terminal area. They consist of 122 security officers and 148 janitors. In future, they would be paid Rp 2.7 million per month from initial payment Rp 2.5 million. But ironically, its amount was cut and merely received Rp 1.2-2.2 million per month.

“Freelancer will be paid via Bank DKI. They must hold their respective ATM cards, no one else,” he stressed, Wednesday (10/14).

Jakarta Transportation Dept. Found 2 Fictitious Freelancers

Through this new payment system, it is expected no longer misuse salary case in future. Those freelancers should receive their full salary this October.

“They deserve to be fully paid without any cut,”he expressed.

However, his side deplored the recruitment process done by third party. Whereas, the Terminal Technical Management Unit (UPT) allowed to recruit freelancer directly. Hence, there will be no more salary cuts. Moreover, the freelancer contract done individually, instead of between legal entities and institutions.
